Physical properties of bearing steel
The physical properties of bearing steel mainly include inspection of microstructure, decarburization, non-metallic inclusions and macrostructure. Generally, the products are delivered by hot rolling annealing and cold drawing annealing. The state of delivery shall be noted in the contract. The macrostructure of steel must be free of shrinkage, subsurface bubbles, white spots and micro pores. The central porosity and general looseness shall not exceed 1.5 grade, and the segregation shall not exceed 2. The annealed structure of steel shall be uniformly distributed fine pearlite. The depth of the decarburization layer, the non-metallic inclusions and the heterogeneity of the carbide shall conform to the relevant national standards and regulations. |
